An eventful week

12:50 AM

The past week and a half has been a fun one. My work has been slowing down so I have been able to spend more time at home with Elvis. Kendal, on the other hand, has been getting scheduled for about 36 hours a week. The summer is starting to wrap up and we are working on some pretty big plans that involve moving back to Rexburg, getting a new place to live, the whole packing/unpacking, and getting back into a scholarly routine. We will update the blog as soon as all of our plans are solid and we'll take a few more pictures along the way.

Elvis investigating a tennis ball. There are dozens of them scattered around the dog park.

Whenever we go to the "Active" part of the dog park, we spends most of the time dodging the bigger dogs and staying between our feet.

We tried to take a serious picture but Elvis is so childish sometimes...

Here are a couple of action shots of Elvis in the "timid/shy" area of the dog park. Really it's just for small dogs that get timid or shy around big dogs.

Elvis running around with his new friends.

Whenever we get home Elvis goes nuts. Here he is dancing with Kendal.

Kendal found this kennel on Craigslist and it was a steal. Elvis was very hesitant to even set foot in it to get a treat.

He started liking it more whenever we put it out on the balcony. Since Elvis can still fit through the bars of the balcony, we don't let him go all the way out. Call it our parently instinct. (Kendal hates it whenever I refer to him as our 'son'.)

Elvis on lockdown.
He is the king of the puppy-face. How could you punish that mug? Heartbreaking...

I don't know why, but Elvis does not like my boots. Whenever I get ready for church and he sees the boots, he starts to run around the house and bark at them.

"Please, no more pictures..."
We have to respect Elvis' request. 'Till next time!
