Tuesday night E's school had a parents night open house. We went and listened to what we can expect from the school year and how he is doing so far. He left a note for us on his table and we were able to see a self portrait he painted. This year instead of a blending badge/alphabet crown he will be getting a golden key. He will get it once he has mastered his blends, irregular vowels, consonant blends and one and two vowel rules. 

The teachers told us that e pays attention very well and if anyone ever asks a question he knows the answer. He also does well public speaking and that he will be a good leader one day. We are glad that he is doing so well there.
